friday finished on a high. After having a 90 frame animation section droped in my lap i was told after animating 15 or so frames not to bother as Orla would take the scene. This made sense for a visual continuality.
Taking away from the fact my silhoutte was actually really shit.
I can't get my head around silhoutte animating. Especialy movment in it.
Flash is driving me crazy. I never pretend to have any ability to use it. But for some reason it insisits on putting keyframes in and refuses to let me frame normaly with onion skin.
The result is a mess on a epic scale.
Jake made me very angry friday. He seems to feel it appropriate to shout across the room of our fellow students "gaz can you check to see if lee has done any work" Beyond being pure rude it is a joke when he was not seen for 2 weeks and in that time seems to have produces 8 backgrounds.
And at the time of doing this was fucking around on flash himself.
My patients with the group and the project are at a bitter end.
Hours of waiting around in the studio for the first two weeks for my producer or director to show up.
No co-ordination from people suposedly in charge and last second decisions and changes.
The work being produced by Gaz and Jake is visualy great.
Tommorow i have to find Richard hamond to help me with sound as animating has lost timing the rest of the group have asked if we can stretch the audio.
Im not sure this will work at all as it probably will just distort Hamiltons voice.
And although i have saidfrom day one we needed to extend the audio by inserting spaces in to it.
That can no longer be done at this stage as it would put all the animating out of time.
I wish very much i had more after effect work todo.
Hopefully i will learn sumthing about audio tommorow that will help my postproduction skills.
On the subject of Story boards and back grounds. The storyboard went down well.
This included my own little script. I was very pleased by this but am still annoyed i could not submit it with moodle.

Dude, Language not needed. Keep a cool head bro, Take it all as a learning curve, you're only gonna get yourself upset and ruin your experience of being here, which isn't cool man. Trust me mate, Jake doesn't make it easy for anyone, haha, hell I know. But he's a sound guy, like a really nice guy. He just does the same as me sometimes and says things without thinking. I think in this group project everyone has ended up getting annoyed at one person or another. I mean, I know everyone in our animation class is amazingly sound and everyone has strengths they should play to, maybe it was just because you were in a group where everyone's strength was totally different to yours. Keep your chin up man. and Don't be a Douche with Blogs, a Tom has told you this before, remember his mighty and all knowing words. Much Love
Tx
Hello! Sorry for the randomness, but HANG ON IN THERE. Working in groups is so stressfull,(group work in the second year certainly hasnt got any easier...) but everything always turns out for the best in the end, if you feel annoyed just try and take a step back for a while. And im going to disagree with what Tom say's its fine to let it all out on your blog, its what its here for!(as long as your not too mean) Chin Up! :)
